Walked into my studio this morning and my r-8 was producing this sound somehow. Maybe my cat did it?maybe my kids did it?maybe it was aliens?.

The sounds of industrial environment as you walk down the neighborhood, you hear a bell chime from a bicycle and a random kick into some plastic material. Soon after a motorbike passes by and the sound of people chattering. Next a trucks hydraulics releasing air.

Guts/organs being twisted or minced. I recorded this for sound of a zombie dragging his guts on the ground as he walks. It's made by squeezing a cleaning cloth soaked in water.

Well, i wanted to do add a sound to my recording of a chicken in a barn. I put the mic (zoom h2 - 4ch-around) outside on the ground and threw some corn around it, so that the chickens will walk around it and hopefully make some noise. The chickens are very chilled, so there are just clucking smoothly and you can hear them walking around. Further there some flies flying close to the mic, some birds and stuff. . . :-).

I set up my recorder outside on christmas eve in 2016 and unwittingly captured the sound of this anonymous and apparently oblivious neighbor walking his dog and singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year" down my street. Pretty charming!. I've noticed recently how my zoom h4 has this nasty looping hum buried beneath the already disappointingly stubborn background noise whenever i do field recordings. Can somebody point me to a solution?.

A "mockup" of footstep sounds, made by "drumming" with my fingers and nails on a cardboard box. Recorded with one of those sheap computer headset microphones, edited in audacity to remove the undesired parts. It sounds a bit like footsteps on a wooden floor.

A second attempt at recording the deep mud i keep finding myself walking through each morning on walthamstow marshes. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics (connected to a bent wire clothes hanger and positioned about 30cm above my feet). Processing: normalize -1. 0db, low cut filter 100hz, minor noise reduction to reduce background traffic/train noise. I do not require any credit or attribution. I'm note sure where or when i recorded this, but it features a number of interesting and useful sounds. It opens with a nice tone, and features various evocative scenes.
